I have two smartcard-readers connected to my WNR3500L via a 4p D-Link USB-hub (powered). I use tomato-K26USB-1.28.9054MIPSR2-beta-Ext with usbserial.ko/ftdi_sio.ko stored on /jffs. When I do:
they are mounted as /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1.
The problem is that I loose connection to the readers after awhile. Mostly after just a few hours, and sometimes after 12h. Maybe it would help if I could lock the ID's (they have ID-chip) to /dev/ttyUSBx? Is it possible? Or do anyone knows what the problem could be?
Best Regards, ctm555
PS1. When I look inte log files in the tomato webinterface I find nothing of interest. And the date/time seems to be all messed up DS1.
PS2. I'm not good at linux and cannot make any assumptions on my onw. I good at following clean intructions though…:) DS2.
