Hello,
I've been trying to set up tomato on my asus WL-500gP with limited successful results.
Everything works with the exception of my USB modem. The modem is a clearspot 4g from Clear. The device works as an RNDIS device on Windows / Linux / MacOS. I can get the device to be recognized with mii.ko, usbnet.ko, cdc_ether.ko and rndis_host.ko. After that, I'm not sure how to get the modem to assign an IP address to the router and have the router distribute internet to all my other devices.
This is just a "for fun" exercise as I can get internet through the wifi interface of the clearspot. I've read about this being done on dd-wrt and a little on openwrt. I want to get it to work on tomato as tomato seems to be the most "complete" solution of all the custom router firmwares.
Please help me out.
Thanks!
