We have a few firmwares for specific needs like VoIP, NAS/Samba, FTP, and God forbid someday PoE to light up the midnight lamp ;)…P2P function on router is underestimated. I can imagine a TomatoUSB P2P edition with simply transmission, and maybe mldonkey(?) (which includes support for kademlia, direct connect, edonkey networks). I share tons of linux distros and p2p is the way to spread the iso love. My main concern is to make available my shares available to the community 24-7 without having my computer on 24/7 which is not Green and not cool. Leechers and their needs is not my concern here.
Would adding these increase the flash image size? I'm using an asus Rt-N16. Do you 'P2P'? Leave your comment to let know if this is really something we're missing in Tomato USB.
