I currently run vanilla Tomato on an Asus WL-520gU. It is rock solid.
I've upgraded some computers on my network and want to move to an 802.11n router with gigabit networking.
I've narrowed it down to the Asus RT-N16 or Netgear WNR3500L running TomatoUSB.
I can get them for around the same price although right now, the WNR3500L is just a little cheaper (Asus $90, Netgear $78).
Any thoughts on which one to choose to run TomatoUSB? Is the option of upgrading the antenna worth the extra money on the Asus? I currently run an external antenna (cheap d-link one) since I have my WL-520gU stashed away in a cabinet.
