I run a custom list of "nvram set" commands when I reset my router, or when I try a different build. Setting up wireless configuration values are one of the list of nvram set command that I run.
However I noticed that the following values do not stick:
nvram set "wl0_channel=1" nvram set "wl0_nbw=20" nvram set "wl0_country=JP" nvram set "wl0_country_code=JP"
After setting up all nvram values, running nvram commit and rebooting, the router would reset back to "AFGHANISTAN" as the country on GUI. Nvram values would return to wl0_country=EU, wl0_country_code=EU, wireless channel = auto. The only way to make the values stick is to configure them via the GUI.
Are there other nvram dependencies for country code that I might have missed, and needs to be configured to make sure these value stay when manually configured using "nvram" set method?
