Hello everyone, long time Tomato user here. I jumped ship to DDWRT when I got my RT-N16 a few months ago, but after a few months I've found it just wasn't for me. I much prefer Tomato, and am so happy that it's development has been continued.
Anyway, I've got b54 running fine and I'm about to start setting up for some optware packages. I will be attaching an external RAID (all hardware, self powered) containing all of my media. I would like to if at all possible, *not* install the opt packages there or create a swap partition on it. I plan to run: rtorrent, lighttpd (with rutorrent), and python (with sabnzb and sickbeard under python).
My question is can I format say a 1gb thumbdrive for /opt and swap and use that in the second USB port, with my media RAID on the other? What would my fstable look like in that case? Is swap really necessary on the RT-N16 with the software mentioned above?
Thanks for any advice, and if any of my plans seem like they won't work please let me know!
