Yes I think you are right. It was working right the first time, I had just thought it had crashed (I couldn't see the HD activity light at the time to check). However, I had created a post-mount script with 'mount —bind /mnt/Other /opt' as one of the commands — that created another problem. That had caused double mounting, as I thought that it was only run after ALL of the partitions had mounted. I found out it actually runs after each partition has mounted.
I hadn't checked this, but I think there's a bug in minidlna, as it appeared to be working somehow… however it was still scanning after 2 days for only approx. 3000 music files. Tried to run minidlna with -d, and saw that it was not scanning anything (no debug message of the kind), but the hd led was flashing… I'm still not sure what its doing.
I have fixed the double mounting with a 'if' script:
if [ ! -f /tmp/MainStart.run ]
logger Loading Post Startup Scripts!
mount /mnt/Other /opt --bind -o noatime,nodev
logger Loaded Post Startup Scripts!
logger Post Scripts Already Loaded!
Simple, but effective, and minidlna has gone back to what happened the first time — making the router 'frozen'. However this time I did test the internet, and it does work ;) (Although sometimes the wireless disconnects by itself, assuming due to 100% cpu).
Anyway, thought I should follow up on this problem, so that others may see.
Thanks Teddy B!
(Minidlna is still scanning right now, judging from the hd led and slow router access)
