I have two routers. Router one has stock firmware, connected to the internet, N only, and usb drive connected. Router two has tomatousb with g clients connecting to it and two printers connected to the ethernet ports. I have the mode set to access point. All clients can get to the internet. I would like to know what mode to set the router so that all clients can see each other also. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
Sounds like you have two internet subscriptions. Can you connect the two routers together with a cable ? If so, then make one router LAN ip 192.168.1.1 and the other 192.168.1.2 and use static IP for all devices.
thanks i have it working now. My only problem is that i am trying to set port forwarding on a wndr3400 to access sshd on my second router which is a wnr3500l. I can reach the ssh server from within my lan but i cant reach it from the outside. I even set the second router's ip to DMZ in the first router that is connected to the internet. any ideas?
nevermind got it working
I'm glad I could help.
