If you saw my earlier thread about having trouble with firmware, it all stemmed from power shutdowns of my router. A few times I've had the power go out and all of a sudden my printer setup would reverse… So, if you selected the Color Inkjet (a Canon), it would print to the HP Laser printerand it wouldn't really printit would print garbage.
Both printers are setup and mounted in the USB section of the control panel. TomatoUSB sees them fine. From there I have trouble. Each is running off othe following:
In my scripts section, I have it set in the Init section as such:
p9100d -b -f /dev/usb/lp0 0
p9101d -b -f /dev/usb/lp1 1
lp0 0 shows up in the printer section as the hp, AND lp1 1 shows up as the Canon. Right now, no matter what I do, it prints garbage to the HP.
Any ideas on what to fix here, and how to prevent it from happening again when I have to do a hard reboot of the router?
