I bought a Linksys E3000 for my gateway router, and wasn't satisfied (for some strange reason <g>) with the stock Linksys firmware.
After I found TomatoUSB, the first flavor I put up was Build 50, specifically:
I was happy that I could set the parameters for both radios, but primarily use 802.11G with my 2 Android cell phones, didn't test the A/N on TomatoUSB as I remember (although I did under factory 1.02 and 1.04.
Skipped Build 51, and this evening, loaded Build 52.
Note for E3000
The Linksys E3000 does not like the .trx file extension. You have to rename the image to .bin to get it to load. At least on the first flash from stock… Worked with .bin when I loaded Build 52 also…
BTW, you might mention that fact in the release notes, and over on LinksysInfo.org…
Build 52 presented me no screens to set the wireless A/N up at all. I could set the B/G/N, but the A/N stuff isn't there.
Configured from the top, setting in all my stuff to my standards, and found nothing for the A/N anywhere.
So, what to do? Stick with 52, drop back or ??? I really don't use the N much at all, (got it to do media, but haven't bitten the cable service bullet yet) since I have Gigabit or 100Meg wired to all my devices, except cell phones, which are G.
