I purchased an ASUS RT-N16 Router. I have tried and tried to run DD-WRT and Oleg on it. I really like the DD-WRT firmware (I have it on a Linksys WRT54G). The problem I have is that I am unable to get my USB storage to run with the DD-WRT firmware.
Will the TomatoUSB firmware run my USB storage without formatting my storge device to EXT3 with 3 - 4 partitions? I would like to leave my hard drive formated with NTFS and one large partition. Pretty much I would like to just flash TomatoUSB onto my router, set it up for my network then just plug in my external hard drive and have it run. Is it possible to just install TomatoUSB firmware and not have to learn to program in Linux to get my USB storage device to run? The ASUS firmware allows me to just plug in my USB storage device and it mounts it then it is ready to go (HDD access is really slow but it works).
