Right now, my instance of Tomato is using vlan2 on eth0 to receive a DHCP IP address and seemingly interface with the WAN.
I would like to be able to "abuse" multiple vlan's to do exactly this and receive multiple DHCP IP addresses, with no specific purpose at this moment for said IP's. So far udhcpc isn't able to discover a DHCP server using these interfaces. I know there are available leases and I know that I am able to have up to 5 MAC addresses request leases so I'm assuming the problem is with routing.
My commands are essentially run as follows:
vconfig add eth0 3
ifconfig vlan3 down
ifconfig vlan3 hw ether be:ef:be:ef:be:ef
ifconfig vlan3 up
udhcpc -i vlan3 -s script.sh
Essentially all udhcpc does is send deconfig and then a failed to discover message to the script.sh, and from the WAN side no new MAC addresses are detected to have sent a dhcp discover out.
Any help would be much appreciative.
