I'm wondering if it is possible to somehow define a DNS server (for using the WAN connection) for the LAN clients? I use a VPN, which makes my ISPs DNS not function. I have solved this by manually defining DNS servers in windows and linux clients on the LAN, and it works well. But this solution does not work for devices where manually defining a DNS server is not possible (in my case, a TViX media extender). Also, it is a bit annoying to have to enter this manually for all clients (especially in the case of friends visiting, etc).
I have tried to enter the adress of DNS servers in "Static DNS", and also toyed around with the settings under in "DHCP / DNS Server (LAN)", but with no success.
Question: Is this possible?
