I see that TomatoUSB has added support for the Linksys WRT610N. Does anyone know if it supports the WRT600N?
It currently is not coded for the wrt600N, but for now, you could use dd-wrt on it. Its nothing like tomato, but until / if tomato supports it, its better then stock. http://dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_WRT600N
Count me in as another WRT600N owner still patiently waiting for Tomato firmware (and bemoaning my ability to choose hardware that gets skipped over by most third party firmware authors, every time!) ;-)
I've considered DD-WRT, but it just seems such an incoherent mess by comparison to Tomato, and articles I've read suggest it to be significantly slower than both Tomato and the stock firmware, so I'm hesitant to try it.
Same here! Looking for WRT600N support, it seems like dd-wrt is just getting bloated in some spots.
It looks like the WRT600N has the same CPU as the WRT610N v1 (v2 has a different one) and WRT350N v1 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linksys_routers … unfortunately it seems there's no builds for those routers either.
Figured I'd check in, but it looks like there's no news. Seems to me that a pretty good way to ensure a router won't be supported in Tomato is to choose one I did. :-( ;-)
