Hello all, I have a NetGear WNR3500L running Tomato Firmware v1.28.9050 MIPSR2-beta20 K26 USB vpn3.6. Just recently, after upgrading the firmware from beta 19 my external USB drive is no longer recognized on the "Attached Devices" list on the tomato GUI. I can't say if it was the upgrade or not, as I don't use the drive that often. I tried plugging in 2 other usb devices, both usb flash drives, and those don't show up as well. I also connected the external usb device to another system and it attached and mounts fine. SO it's not the hard drive. I looked in the Tomato logs, and the logs show the following related to USB:
Sep 14 13:56:28 router1 user.notice kernel: SCSI subsystem initialized
Sep 14 13:56:28 router1 user.info kernel: Initializing USB Mass Storage driver…
Sep 14 13:56:28 router1 user.info kernel: usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage
Sep 14 13:56:28 router1 user.info kernel: USB Mass Storage support registered.
I assume the above log entries are good, meaning all is working related to drivers and internal hardware.
I would like to know if there is a command I can use with the ssh console to list usb attached devices instead of the gui console method?
If anyone can assist or recommend what I can try I would be grateful.
How can I test to see if maybe it's the router hardware related to usb is bad. The router works fine except for the usb port. Again the USB was working until I upgraded the firmware from beta 19 to 20. Thank you for any help on this matter. robohh….
