I keep seeing in my logs warnings about possible DNS rebindings for addresses that I know are safe (dynamic ips):
Aug 25 20:53:48 XXXXXX daemon.warn dnsmasq: possible DNS-rebind attack detected: XXXX.dyndns.org
This shows up several times.
My understanding is that the DNS rebind problem occurs when the outsider tries to pretend as a member of the internal network which in this case, clearly is not the case.
Is there anything that can be done?
For example, can this protection be disabled/enabled through the web interface until dnsmasq properly implements rebind protection?
