I've just gotten an ASUS RT-N16 and am totally enamored with it after installing the latest Tomato USB ext. package. I have the print server working, the NAS working and the FTP up and running. My only problem is that the FTP is a bit low on functionality.
Until I got the RT-N16 I had my FTP running on a separate WYSE terminal running FileZilla that served up files from my 1TB external hard drive to selected users. The set up was as follows:
Account type: Admin
Read/Write all files and directories.
Account type: User
Read selected files and directories.
Write to one (upload) directory.
With the ftp on Tomato USB some of this functionality can't be had easily in its present configuration. I'd REALLY like to have my users be able to upload to a single directory again without having to make each user a second upload-only (private) account.
So, I guess my question is this: does anyone know how to write some extra scripts for the FTP that can add this functionality? Or, does anyone know of a script repository for this FTP?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
