I have Ausu RT N-12 with the latest teddy bear Tomato firmware (http://tomatousb.org/download)NoUSB Std version. everything works much better than the Asus stock firmware which gave me very slow speed, except dropping connection every 2-3 hours. My computer wireless connection shows "no internet access" . This does not happen when stock firmware was used or when my old Dlink G router was used. My internet vendor is Comcast 12mb/4mb. The mode is B/N mix and security is WAP2 Person AES. Now I have to disconnect wireless connection and reconnect it every 2-3 hours. Does anyone know how to solve it? Thank you!

DD-WRT users are having the same problem with this router.
Try setting your wireless mode to Auto. This seems to fix it for most users.
Trying out Build 50 that claims to fix this. The router's been up for 2 1/2 days with no drops. So far so good.
i used all latest version of dd-wrt for this router, none of it fixed the wireless dropping yet, at least for my RT-N12.
in fact, latest tomato nousb build 50 had dramatically improved the condition, i can use wireless encryption with no dropping for almost 2 days.
Even with the new Tomato firmwire it's not working for me. Wifi dropped after 30 minutes. I'm going to try to reflash and reset settings to default but I think it's time for a new router!
Is this a momentary outage or do you have to power cycle the router to restore service ?
@ Tao, does the wireless adapter still show it is connected before you disconnect it ?
I'm having the same issue. My wireless shows it's connected, but it doesn't pass any data. If I switch to a wired connection, it works fine. Power cycling the routers seems to fix it - for a little bit.
