This request would probably be more for the Optware folks but I'd like to see something along the lines of a MoBlock style of IP blocking. MoBlock is similar to PeerGuardian but for Linux systems. It blocks IPs based on blocklists from the Blocklist Pro site. MoBlock will update itself with the most recent copy of the blocklist file hosted on their site.
I think this would be a cool feature to have for the blocklist to auto update itself within the router so that the entire network is protected rather than installing PeerGuardian or MoBlock on each individual computer or putting ipfilter.dat files in your torrent client. From what I understand Privoxy in the Optware package can somewhat accomplish this but not exactly in this manner.
There may already be a way of doing this and i'm just unaware…. Sorry if i'm just not aware of how to do this with the current way the firmware is. Please enlighten me if so.
I'm also not that familiar with Privoxy but i've checked http://www.privoxy.org/user-manual/ to see if I can get more info. Maybe it can do this and i'm just not aware. I only use MoBlock and have never really used Privoxy.
