Hi guys, I am struggling with one specific network setup, hope some of you could help.
I am using the latest Tomato Shibby release over my Asus RT-N66U.
I have WAN from my ISP, connected to ISP's router (no login access to that one). Then I connected my Asus router to it. What I am achieving is to get the ISP router away and use just mine Asus directly connected to WAN. It works perfectly. BUT - I have also external static IP address, which works the way that ISP routes all traffic from this external static IP address to the device in my internal network, which must have this parameters:
In setup with 2 routers, I had mine Asus configured the way that its WAN IP was having 10.2.19.34, routing all of this to internal NAS server - which I wanted.
However - now when I put away ISP router and have just my one Asus, I need to configure my Asus to the same values as ther ISP router was, which is:
Now I struggle - how to make the setup that I somehow force my Asus to have also this 10.2.19.34. (including given DNSes), to receive the traffic from external static IP address? I tried to make my internal LAN with 10.2.19.*, and assign my NAS 10.2.19.34 - did not help. Apparently I need to have also correct gateway and DNS as required for the router external to internal device.
Please help if you can, I am desperate :(
