A VoIP phone system installer is in a pickle. The IT guy inherited a network that utilizes a routable IP scheme, 205.190.53.xx /24.
He installed the Tomato router to be a gateway on a separate WAN IP. There is a SOnicwall router taking care of the Data network with DHCP, etc. The phones are registering like they are remote phones. We are thinking that since the LAN scheme is comprised of a routable IP scheme that the Tomato router is routing the phone traffic as if it were an outside device? Could this be happening and how can I fix this within the router? If possible
