I have a TiVo that I wish to transfer programs from. The TiVo only has a wired interface and I need to access it wirelessly.
I configured a secondary router to be a Wireless Ethernet Bridge and will connect the TiVo to it. Right now I have a laptop acting as a client for testing purposes.
The hardwired laptop client of the secondary can access the Internet and can ping devices that are connected wirelessly to the primary. HOWEVER, when I ping the secondary router or the laptop client FROM a primary client I get a "Destination host unreachable". (Windows message)
When I examine the primary router's network map of clients (Merlin firmware) I see that while the secondary router and the laptop client have unique IP addresses they all share the same MAC address (the secondary router's Wireless interface MAC address).
Is there a solution to this problem?
Internet searches have been fruitless.
