Hi,
I use a TomatoUSB router to create a LAN-segment 192.168.2.0 behind my main router.
The TomatoUSB router is setup as Wireless client, with WAN set to DHCP, and Advanced->mode is set to "router" (I want free access between the LAN segments). Also I have setup a static route within my main router to route traffic for 192.168.2.0 to the TomatoUSB (I have made sure it gets the same IP address from the main router DHCP every time).
Everything works fine: Clients in the 192.168.2.0 net can access the other LAN segment and have Internet access.
Now I have changed to a static IP address for the WAN in TomatoUSB, and in TomatoUSB router I have added default route for 0.0.0.0 over the WAN to the main router.
Result: Clients can access the internet (yes!), but can no longer access the other LAN segment!
Any idea how to remedy this?
Thanks in advance,
Tompst
