i posted this in bugs back in june, with no replies. so im posting here in hopes some one can guide me here.
note: im lazy, this applies all so to v132
router: WNR3500L v1 (samknows version)
current firmware: 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-128 K26 USB BT-VPN
i have all ways had to flash down to ddwrt mini before upgrading, this time however when i try to upgrade to 130 (of the same build type) ddwrt shows it as a success after just a few seconds but doesnt upgrade, i figured out its because its to large. using the "mini" version of tomato and then trying to go to 130 i get a "to large for MTD" message. i have never been able to go higher than the 128 im running (file size wise) even though tomato shows..
Free Memory: 51.36 MB (aprox. size that can be buffered completely in RAM)
it all so for some reason shows this as a v2
Name TomatoUSB
Model Netgear WNR3500L/U/v2
Chipset Broadcom BCM4716 chip rev 1 pkg 10
CPU Freq 453MHz
Flash Size 8MB
maybe not a bug, but 130 is now to large.
personally i only need ipv6, usb, and qos, so maybe im trying to run more than i need? but i cant make heads or tails of the naming convention.
