hello I'm new in this site and sorry if I say something wrong or wrong thread, I'm not expert or programmer. I have the necessity to create a script in Tomato to shutdown my nas when an ip ping doesn't not respond. . I mean. I have an hp microserver with proxmox hypervisor installed and a virtual machine on. when the virtual machine shutdown I would like to shutdown also the hypervisor (proxmox). my project is.. tomato ping the virtual machine ip address, when virtual machine shutdown automatically because hard disks spin down, tomato send the script via ssh to shutdown the hypervisor..this is an example found here to wake up.. is there someone that could help me to do the reverse ?
ping -q -c 1 192.168.xx.xx > /dev/null
if [ $? != 0 ] ; then "I would like to send the command ssh to shutdown proxmox hypervisor"
thanks in advance for your kind help.
second question would be.. my tomato control the APC UPS. when powerfailure my nas shutdown via APCUPSD.. is there a way to wake up again my server when power is restored? I mean.. a script that send wol when ups control of Tomato return ONLINE.
