I found a bug that needs to be looked at. I'm using a router that has a 2.4GHz and a 5GHz antenna. I'm using the router to connect to a local TWCWiFi access point while on location for a job. Using my cell phone I'm able to see the AP called TWCWiFi broadcasting in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signal. I then log into my router, which is running Shibby TomatoUSB, I can set the 2.4 GHz antenna into Client mode and it see and connects to the SSID TWCWiFi. However if I change that back to AP and put the 5GHz antenna to SSID TWCWiFi, it won't connect at all.
I then went into site survey on the router to see if it finds both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signal but it only shows the 2.4GHz SSID of TWCWiFi. It does show another SSID that's broadcasting only on the 5GHz antenna but it fails to find and locate any 5GHz SSID if the SSID is used for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Antennas.
