Hi guys,
First time i'm trying custom firmware on a router and so far I really like it except for one error.
For some reason my 5 GHZ wifi rate looks very unstable and I can't seem to keep it stable. Looks like there's no issue with the 2.4 GHZ wifi.
My settings:
LAN (hide)
Router MAC Address 50:46:5D:D1:14:08
Router IP Addresses br0 (LAN) - 192.168.1.1/24
DHCP br0 (LAN) - 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.100
Wireless (2.4 GHz / eth1) (hide)
MAC Address 50:46:5D:D1:14:0A
Wireless Mode Access Point
Wireless Network Mode Auto
Interface Status Up (LAN)
Radio Enabled
SSID ASUS_2.4
Broadcast Enabled
Security WPA2 Personal (PSK) + AES
Channel 5 - 2.432 GHz
Channel Width 40 MHz
Interference Level Severe
Rate 450 Mbps
Wireless (5 GHz / eth2) (hide)
MAC Address 50:46:5D:D1:14:0B
Wireless Mode Access Point
Wireless Network Mode N Only
Interface Status Up (LAN)
Radio Enabled
SSID ASUS_5G
Broadcast Enabled
Security WPA2 Personal (PSK) + AES
Channel 56 - 5.280 GHz
Channel Width 80 MHz
Interference Level Acceptable
Rate 65 Mbps
As you can see the rate for the 5 GHZ wifi is really low. Some times it goes up to 100-200 Mbps and then goes back down
Any ideas on how to fix this are greatly appreciated.
