Out of the blue after maybe 5 years or more connected PPPoE to Verizon FIOS service, my router will not get an ip address. So I had no choice but to stick it behind the Verizon supplied router in order to keep my family happy since having no internet is truly the most important problem to solve.
This works, but double NAT is happening, so my port forwarding won't work, my DDNS won't work because I use a vendor not on the Verizon router's pulldown list (Duckdns in my case).
I have a feeling Verizon changed something somewhere. It makes no sense my router would just suddenly not be able to connect and their router connects no problem.
Has anyone seen this behavior? I hope erase nvram isn't what I need to do. That would suck. So much work to reconfigure everything.
I'm running Toastman's latest build.
