I'm trying to set up a network as follows:

(sorry, I can't post an image as a new user)
The modem is a Time Warner Cable-supplied modem/AP/switch (some Technicolor model). WAN IP is 173.15.49.23/31. LAN is 192.168.0.0/24.
It connects to a Netgear R7000 running Netgear firmware. "WAN" IP: 192.168.0.2. LAN is 192.168.1.0/24. It supplies internet to various machines.
That is connected to a Linksys E4200 running the latest Tomato Shibby. "WAN" IP: 192.168.1.2. LAN is 172.16.1.0/24.
I want all the networks to communicate across each other. Client A should be able to access the VM Host and Client B in 172.16.1.0/24. All should be able to access the internet.
I have the E4200 configured in Router mode, and it can ping/access the 192.168.1.0/24 network, and it can be pinged from that network as well.
However, I can't access the internet from 172.16.1.0/24. I'm assuming this is a firewall and/or routing issue. The routing table looks correct. Interestingly, I can traceroute Google from the E4200 Tomato Admin Interface.
Any advice?
