I have been trying for days now to get Tomato firmware loaded and working on my Netgear R7000. I even went back to stock and tried DD-WRT after. Both times after flashing Tomato or DD-WRT firmware, I got no internet connection at all (wireless or wired). I've been searching for answers but just can't figure it out. As soon as I go back to stock firmware, I can connect.
I'm thinking it has something to due with conflicting IP addresses or DHCP or DNS, but I'm clueless on how to get it fixed (even though I'm sure it's easy).
I'm connecting it to a Verizon FIOS modem.
Can someone PLEASE PLEASE help walk me through this so I can get it working? Or point me to someone who can? I've wasted hours and hours and I'm completely frustrated.
Thanks so much!
