Around mid-March, I bought a new Asus RT-N66U and immediately flashed it to the Tomato Shibby K26RT-AC branch (tomato-RT-N66U_RT-AC6x—124-VPN-64K.trx). Everything worked great except that I don't have an 80MHz channel width option for my 5GHz wireless radio, only 20MHz and 40MHz.
I thought it might have been because I used the K26RT-AC branch instead of the K26RT-N branch, even though both branches have builds for the RT-N66U.
At the end of March, Shibby released a new version so I thought upgrading might fix my issue. I upgraded to the K26RT-AC (tomato-RT-N66U_RT-AC6x—128-VPN-64K) branch first and checked the channel width but still no 80MHz so I flashed to the K26RT-N branch (tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-128-VPN-64K) but no luck, still no 80MHz option. I ended up flashing back to the newest K26RT-AC version.
Yes, I cleared NVRAM before and after each flash and then rebooted once more before manually reconfiguring.
Anyone have an ideas of what the issue might be? Thanks for reading.
