I have a RT-N66U with SHIBBY tomato-RT-N66U_RT-AC6x—124-AIO-64K installed.
I’m trying to run a FTP server with SSL security. So I did the basic config:
pasv_address=(my domain name)
The Ports are successfully opened in firewall. I can connect to the server but I get, once every few files I download from the internet, this error in filezilla:
primary connection and data connection certificates don't match
After a lot of reading, I found an answer that says :
We need to ensure that a valid SSL certificate is set both at the global and the individual FTP site levels. It finally depends upon the FTP client whether to expect the same certificate or different ones for primary and data connections.
Anyone knows how to do that in Vsftpd config?
The code in filezilla that generates the error is:
/*if (m_implicitTrustedCert.size != cert_list.size ||
memcmp(m_implicitTrustedCert.data, cert_list.data, cert_list.size))
m_pOwner->LogMessage(::Error, _("Primary connection and data connection certificates don't match."));
I could desactivate it and recompile filezilla but as a security measure I’d rather config my server to work correctly.
