apparently a complete idiot here!
I was running a successful implementation of the tomato AIO FW for the WNR3500LV2 router and tried to upgrade to the new version
tomato-Netgear-3500Lv2-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x—124-AIO.chk and bricked the router.
When using a USB-TTL serial cable connected to the JP1 port using pins
I am able to see the following output on the terminal screen
Found a AMD NAND flash with 2048B pages or 128KB blocks; total size 128MB

But I am unable to interrupt the booting sequence when executing a Control-C. I have tried repeated key strokes from the moment I turn on the router to after the the load starts and everywhere on between. I am obviously doing something wrong in the sequence but for the life of me cant figure it out!
I have tried
Mac os screen
Linux minicom & screen
Windows 7 putty
To no avail, any ideas would be appreciated, and I am feeling like a complete idiot as this should be a very simple thing to do.
Thanks for any time that you are willing to spend on helping out!
