Hey everyone,
A few weeks ago I bought a Asus RT-66U. I tried installing Tomato, ending up not working. I managed to upload the tomato firmware again. And finally got Tomato installed.
I've setup my wireless network (SSID, Passwords) etc. The only problem now is I can't connect to the internet. When I login into the routers Page and look at the WAN section I get this…
Connection Type: DHCP
IP Address: 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask: 0.0.0.0
Gateway: 0.0.0.0
DNS
MTU: 1500
Status: Renewing…
Connection Uptime: -
Remaining Lease Time: 0 days, 00:00:00
I've been trying for 3 weeks to get this router setup. It's for my dad so he can use Roku (currently living in Aus). Also tried looking on the forms for trouble shooting tips. I am not using a cable modem but a router/modem. I have a cable
connected to the asus router that goes into my modem/router (Belkin) I use a phone line that plugs into the Belkin to give me internet.
On the ASUS RT-66U - I've tried: Clearing NVRAM, 30/30/30 reset, clicking default on Mac addresses, turning off 'reduce packet size', turning off both devices for for than 5 minutes, etc.
Current Specs
New Router: ASUS RT-66U
Modem/Router: Belkin F5D8636-4 v2 (01)
Firmware Version: tomato-RT-N66U_RT-AC6x—116-AIO-64K.trx
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
